Taman ayun Temple
Taman Ayun means beautiful garden, This temple is beatifully surrounded by a vast pond. Allgedly, this pond was frequently used for bathing place by the royal mind. While bathing, they usually sailed by a small baot to rejoice. Taman Ayun temple was built in the seventeenth century (1634) by the first king of Mengwi Kingdom, Tjokorda Sakti Blambangan, helped by a chinese architect. Estabilishment of the temple was carried out cosidering the temple in bali were too far awayto reach by the people of Mengwi.
Batu karu Temple
Luhur Batukaru Temple is one of Bali’s key directional temples (Bali attractions) and a site of pilgrimage for Hindu Balinese. The Pura Luhur Batukaru lies in solitary clearing 1,300 meters above the sea level, all around the Batukaru temple you’ll find a garden of flowering frangipani and hibiscus, with a gigantic, inhabited, humid tropical forest all around it. The impressive placed Batukaru is situated on the slopes of Mount Batukaru since the 11th century, which is an especially sacred site, even by Balinese standards. That’s why all visitors have to carefully read and abide the temple rules posted clearly at the entrance.
Luhur Watukaru temple or Pura Batukaru is one of the biggest Hindu Temples in Bali (Sad Kahyangan), and one of the places of interest in Bali, with Catur Lokapala Temple and Padmabhuwana Temple status. Watukaru temple is located at Wongayagede village, Penebel District and Tabanan regency, west part of Bali Island (all Bali attractions).
Jati luwih Rice Terrace
The name of Jatiuwih comes from 2 Balinese words jati + luwih. Jati means real, and luwih means beautiful or excellent. This name is given to the vast stretch of rice field dug in terraces on the slope of mount Batukaru. The rice terrace forms beautiful sight at all seasons, during the watering, or before planting the rice looks like a tremendous construction big glass with irregular size of frames. When the rice almost reaches harvest time, often the color varied between green, and dark yellow. This mixture of color forms a breathtaking views on such a wide view over the terraces which border is very far away down there. Road that cut the rice terrace near the top border is a good place to enjoy this man made natural scenery.
Bedugul Botanical Garden
Bedugul Botanical Garden or Kebun Raya Eka Karya is the huge tropical garden located in Bedugul, plateau area in Bali. It is situated in the cool atmosphere with rain forest and hills surrounding it.
This botanical garden opened in 1959 and owns 154.5 ha land located in the Tabanan regency, northwest part of Bali. It is close to the beautiful lake which is called Beratan Lake and Ulun Danu Temple. It is completed by more than 1187 plant types and multifarious of floras.
In this area, there is a orchid garden with the collection of 320 orchid types from Bali, Java, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Sulawesi and also Irian Jaya.
Tanah lot Temple
The word of Tanah Lot is consisted of two words that are Tanah word interpreted as a reef looking like gili or isle. Lot or Lod word has meaning the sea. So Tanah Lot is meaning the small island floating on the sea. The location is now called as Tanah Lot has been used at a Megalithic period as a place that looked into holy, proven from the existence of menhir. Pursuant to environmental condition, hence the structure of Tanah Lot Temple is built at irregular reef plain of its angle which is only consisted of one plain yard as Jeroan.
